the Lord's prayer stations

Here are four stations for worship and prayer that we enjoyed this week. They are simple and easy to set up and can be decorated more elaborately if you have time and space.
Station 1
Extra set up: the word Father in italic print on the wall and coloured markers or pastels.
Our Father in Heaven, May your name be kept Holy.
Breathe through this prayer four times and trace the word father with your marker.
Breath in: Our Father
Breath out: May your name be kept holy.
Station 2
Extra set up: Map of world and glass beads.
May your kingdom come. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Hold a glass stone until it warms in your hand. Place it on an area you want to commit to God today. Pray this part of the Lord’s prayer over it.
Psalm 145:18
The Lord is close to everyone who calls out to him,
to all who call out to him sincerely.
Station 3
Extra set up: Bread.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Take a piece of bread and remember God is your provider for the moments and days ahead.
Psalm 145:8
“The Lord is merciful and compassionate, very patient, and full of faithful love.
Station 4
Extra set up: Psalm 145:14 on the floor with second instruction. Psalm 17:7 with hand print on the wall.
..and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
Pray this slowly. Bend over from the waist to touch the verse on the floor.
As you bend, breathe out, as a symbol of releasing your sin.
When you are ready, straighten up and place your hand on Psalm 17:7 and pray this for yourself.
Psalm 145:14 New Living Translation (NLT)
The Lord helps the fallen
and lifts those bent beneath their loads.
Psalm 17:7
Manifest your faithful love in amazing ways because you are the one
who saves those who take refuge in you,
saving them from their attackers by your strong hand.
