Good Friday Tenebrae Service March 29

Up on Mountain

8:45am sharp at CCC 17-19 Surrey Rd West, Croydon. Doors close at 9am.

Tenebrae is the Latin word for darkness or shadows and this simple communion service is a representation of the darkness that covered the world at the death of Jesus.
In this time we will experience 4 ‘movements’ that happened on a hill or a mountain around the time of Jesus’ death. These will be four gospel readings represented by photographic work by Karen Brookes.
We invite you to wear black – the colour of mourning and join us after this short service for a hot-crossed bun breakfast.

Easter Sunday March 31

10:15am at CCC.
Celebrate the amazing beauty of Easter Sunday and participate in the tradition of greening the cross.
We close our time with an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.
